Indian Opener Virender Sehwag on Tuesday said during the presentation that Srilankan Off spinner Suraj Randiv who denied him from getting his 13th one day hundred by bowling a no ball to get India the victory run . However the Spinner has apologized for his conduct personally to sehwag. Sehwag confirmed the news via twitter
“Randiv came to my room and apologized,”.
Even though Sehwag blasted the ball out of the rope but his score was still 99 as the runs scored after the victory run will not be counted. However there are also rumors claiming that Sanagakara personally asked Randiv to bowl a no ball to sehwag and there where lots of criticism over Srilanka for their attitude and it is not a great spormanship said cricket experts. Minutes after the game, a livid Sehwag told reporters that Sri Lanka had used such tactics earlier also, pointing out that they had left Sachin Tendulkar stranded at 99 with a similar strategy in a match in Cuttack
