Johnny Depp Split With Vanessa Paradis After 14 Year Relationship

Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp is back to single as the 14 year relationship with his partner French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis came to an end. Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children,” Depp’s publicist Robin Baum said in a statement.

Depp, 49 started dating the French singer Paradis, 39 in 1998, right after the split from the British supermodel Kate Moss. The couple made several appearances in films together and their relationship came to limelight soon after their film in Roman Polanski’s 1999 film The Ninth Gate.

Depp and Paradise never married in their 14 year relationship and have two children, Lily-Rose, 13, and 9-year-old Jack, and set up homes in France, Los Angeles and on a private island in the Caribbean.

 Depp rose to fame in the 1980s in the Fox television series 21 Jump Street, leading to films including Donnie Brasco, Chocolat and thePirates of the Caribbean franchise.
